Cuando empezó el arco y leí el primer número, dije que no estaba muy segura si me había parecido la peor cagada ever, o si era una obra maestra.
Terminó el arco, y estoy bastante segura, a estas alturas, que fue el mejor de los 3, so far.

Have poco más de un año que empezó esta temporada.
El primer arco arrancó bien, y si bien la expectativa era demasiada, para mi, logró cumplirlas.
El segundo arco fue aún mejor. Brian K. Vaghan encontró las voces de Giles y de Faith y nos regalo una historía muy buena.
Tuvimos también tres increíble stand-alones escritos por Joss Whedon y sinceramente “A Beautiful Sunset” y “The Chain” son para mi los mejores Issues hasta la fecha.
Pero este arco… creo que va a superar TODO aquello. Drew Goddard conoce a los personajes, sabe como manejar el medio y encuentra un equilibrio entre aventuras, drama y comedia realmente increíble.

Issue #5 of Angel: After the Fall is ready to be read. (And yes, they are aware of how cruel they are).
Ayer salió a la venta Serenity: Better Days #1, la primera parte de una nueva miniserie de 3 issues escrita por Joss Whedon y Brett Mathews que se sitúa entre Those Left Behind (después del último episodio de Firefly) y Serenity (la película).
Es solo el comienzo, pero el issue es entretenido y muy Firefly-esque. El arte es interesante también, excepto Walsh (awwww, Waaalsh), que está irreconocible.
Y como para completar el Jossverse en comics en este blog, inauguré otra sección.

I don’t know if I love it or I hate it. Seriously. Esto puede ser la mayor piece of crap ever o una obra maestra. Todavía no decido.

Here’s the thing: I love Buffy. I love the Buffy fandom. I love that this place had become a reunion spot, for those who love the show as much as I do. I love to share my thoughts and the resources (the links) with all of them. I feel useful, I feel like I’m returning something to that fandom.
But it’s too much.
Every first week of the month, I’ve got to delete bunches of comments asking for the brand new issue, like I can do magic and make it appear even when it hasn’t been scanned yet. It’s annoying.
Now, the spoilers. The things that are probably a misleading, but that I SO didn’t want to know.
It’s too much.
Maybe it’s time to move on, to change the fucking template and to take down the links.
Maybe this blog can be mine again. My personal blog.

Como hacer un review cuando no tenés ganas de redactar? Pones todas las palabras que se te cruzan por la cabeza (después de haber leído el comic en questión) en un textarea y le das al botón “Publish”.
